◎What is silvicultural timber?

The name of the wood born from Suntory's "Natural Water Forest" activities. To protect the workings of the forest and nurture the water, sometimes it is necessary to cut down trees. Trees are cut to brighten the forest or to prevent the spread of disease. The wood cut down to keep the forest healthy is carefully utilized as material. "Ikurin-zai" (cultivated forest wood) embodies this sentiment.
