Suntory Hall × Nijiyura Japanese ‘tenugui’ towel
Suntory Hall and Nijiyura have collaborated to produce this tenugui (hand towel) using Chusen dyeing, a type of traditional stencil dyeing. Since the dyeing process goes all the way to the core of the yarn, the texture of the bleached fabric is not lost, and the colors are visually vivid, representing the instruments of an orchestra. There may be some blotches and unevenness in the dyeing, but please enjoy it as a unique feature of hand-dyeing.
